Skate Like A Star, then.......

Senin 23 Februari 2014, hari terakhir skate ring di Newport buka.  Setelah itu akan tutup sampai musim dingin berikutnya. Aku belum pernah melihat anak-anak skate, biasanya mereka pergi dengan teman-teman dan salah satu orangtua akan mengantar dan menjemputnya. Namun hari ini aku sendiri yang mengantar mereka skate, aku ingin melihat mereka bermain ice skating sebelum pulang ke Indonesia. Mengendarai mobil di Amerika ? Hmmmm....sesuatu yang baru.  Baru karena semua berbeda dengan di Indonesia.  Di Indonesia kita memegang setir di sebelah kanan, menggerakkan tuas persneling dengan tangan kiri, dan berjalan di sebelah kiri. Di Amerika kebalikannya.  Roda kemudi ada di sebelah kiri, menggerakkan tuas persneling dengan tangan kanan, dan berjalan di sebelah kanan. Akupun tidak pernah mengemudikan kendaraan otomatis, berpuluh-puluh tahun memakai mobil dengan sistem manual, dimana kendali gas dan pedal kopling harus berimbang, padahal semua kendaraan di Amerika adalah mobil otomatis.
